The 16,000-square-foot building, which needed a new roof, is in the process of getting a top-notch one, thanks to Burtin, whose generosity was recognized by the Atlanta Hawks organization, also a supporter of Atlanta Mission's cause. During a recent Atlanta Hawks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers game at Atlanta's Philips Arena, the Foametix logo was apparent on the Jumbotron, banners and shirts. "Our partnership with the Atlanta Hawks enabled us to donate the materials for the project at the women's shelter of the Atlanta Mission," said Ryan Hester of Foametix. "We were then offered a great opportunity to showcase our brand during the game, as well as the opportunity to entertain some of our major sprayfoam distributors in a box suite at the game." The exposure, in addition to helping the Mission, helped promote SPF and Foametix, as well. "Being game sponsors had a definite impact on our business, and it feels good to be able to achieve that while supporting a good cause and doing our part to give back to our community," said Hester. "I would call the event a success for Foametix." Better Buildings Summit, May 27-29 This year, the Better Buildings Summit is expanding into new sectors and engaging a diverse set of market leaders. More than 800 Better Buildings partners and stakeholders will gather in Washington, D.C., to participate in sessions and meetings focused on the sharing of the most successful strategies for achieving energy savings through energy efficiency.
