Rencontre début janvier dans les locaux de NEOMA Alumni, 48bis rue des Belles-Feuilles, Paris 16, avec Marc-Antoine Jarry depuis New York.
aux origines plus modestes que ceux des écoles
parisiennes. Les forces et faiblesses des deux
associations se conjuguaient parfaitement. RBSAA
possédait un CareeR CenteR® performant et avait
négocié un très bon arrangement financier avec
son école ; RMS-Network était dotée d'un réseau
fort et d'un site web de qualité. Seules nos revues
faisaient doublon, d'où la création d'une nouvelle,
encore plus réussie. En résumé, nous partagions
les mêmes valeurs, envies et visions : ça aide à bâtir
un projet. D'un point de vue juridique, la fusion
s'est faite très rapidement. Nous avons bouclé les
statuts de NEOMA Alumni à quatre, en trois heures
au cours d'un dîner, décidant dans la foulée que
notre boisson officielle serait le champagne plutôt
que le Calva ! (rires)
Comment avez-vous pensé les statuts ?
Édouard Bucaille - Notre objectif principal était
que les deux associations soient vraiment à égalité
dans NEOMA Alumni. Pour ce faire, les statuts ont
prévu une représentation paritaire : deux coprésidents,
deux vice-présidentes, deux cotrésoriers,
etc.
Anne Aubrun - Nos statuts sont structurés de
telle sorte que chaque génération est représentée
de manière équitable dans les instances de
NEOMA Alumni, en tenant aussi compte du campus
d'origine, de la promotion, du type de diplôme
et du genre. Une alchimie complexe, qui assure la
diversité et le renouvellement des membres tout
en restant garante d'une certaine continuité.
Jean-Michel Huet - Cela nous oblige à chercher
constamment des profils différents, et nous y parvenons
depuis 2013 ! Dans une association, les
statuts sont un élément essentiel : ils font le lien
entre tous les membres et fixent les règles du jeu.
Ils peuvent donc vite constituer un point de blocage.
Je l'avais expérimenté dix ans plus tôt,
lorsque Reims avait mis trois ans pour fusionner
les associations des Alumni de ses différents programmes,
dans un contexte assez tendu. Ici, cela
n'a pas du tout été le cas.
Eddy Topalian - Le champagne a aidé à détendre
les réunions de travail ! (rires)
Quelles étaient les réactions des étudiants
et Alumni ?
Anne Aubrun - Je sortais de l'école et avais intégré
le bureau de RBSAA en tant qu'ancienne du
BDE : je peux témoigner pour les étudiants. Pour
eux, le rapprochement n'allait pas entièrement de
soi. Il y avait des réticences, des petites « guerres »
de campus, une rivalité, certes gentille mais bien
réelle. Au sein de la banque ECRICOME, nous
étions tous d'accord pour dire que les Rouennais
étaient très cools et les Rémois très prétentieux
(rires) !
