In order to minimize the footprint, the actuators are collinear and the motion of one of the two actuators is redirected by 90° by a mechanical lever. The UMRTRA XY is the results of a custom development for laser beam path adjustments in a photovoltaic application and provides a high load capacity and high rigidity in a very compact size. The stage measures only 90 x 120 x 38 mm (W x D x H) including the base plate. The base plate with four holes allows easy integration into custom systems. The UMR-TRA XY is available with DC servo and stepper motors. A special vacuum compatible version is available as well. Applications NEW in both research and industrial areas include Laser beam path adjustment Moving laser crystals Vacuum application Remote control of space confined setup Specifications Travel range Resolution Uni-directional repeatability Maximum speed Normal/Axial load capacity 12 x 12 mm 0.0305 µm with DC motor 0.0977 µm Full-step resolution with stepper motor 2 µm 0.4 mm/s 100 N/20 N CALL For more information, call your local sales office. M O T I O N C O N T R O L URB100CC High-Speed Precision Rotation Stage PRODU PREVIE CT W Key Features Belt driven version of URS series offers higher rotation velocity with high reliability DC motor version equipped with a 15,000 cycles/rev. direct-read angular encoder providing 0.0001° resolution for critical applications Economic stepper motor version with high motion sensitivity 2 rev/s maximum speed on DC motor version, 200 °/s on stepper motor version Unique 2-piece bearing design yields high stiffness with exceptional wobble and eccentricity specifications The Newport URB100CC rotation stage is based on the popular URS series, but features a belt drive instead of a worm gear. The belt drive offers significantly higher rotation speeds of up to 720 °/s without sacrificing reliability. Typical applications are LIDAR, 3D imaging, or film thickness measurements of semiconductor wafers. Common to these applications are fast rotations over larger angles or continuous spinning at very high duty cycles and with high precision requirements with regards to wobble and angular repeatability.
