Bien sûr, il ne s'agit pas de faire des
reproches à nos amis victimes
d'accidents, mais il faut être capable
d’analyser les accidents et les erreurs
commises pour ne pas reproduire la
même chose. C'est une évidence
et cela se fait depuis toujours dans
le parachutisme et en aéronautique.

Avant d'aller plus loin dans l'analyse
technique, que montrent les chiffres sur
le niveau des victimes et la nature des
sauts ? Y a-t-il des statistiques en dehors
des Français ?
10 des 11 accidents français qui auraient
pu être évités touchent des débutants ou
des personnes ayant une expérience
limitée dans le domaine de vol choisi.
Et sur ces 11 accidents, 10 se sont
produits en wingsuit (dont 4 en proximity
flying, 3 en sortie et 3 en "perte de vol"
avec ouverture trop tardive ou poignée
pas trouvée).
Concernant les étrangers pratiquant en
France, on dénombre 7 accidents mortels
sur les falaises françaises depuis 2011,
tous les 7 en wingsuit et au moins 5 en
proximity flying.
Concernant les accidents dans le monde,
en 2013 on dénombre 21 accidents mortels dont 19 en wingsuit incluant au moins
11 en proximity flying et 4 en sorties
ratées. Nous ne disposons pas de
renseignements précis sur l'expérience
des victimes, mais certaines étaient
des pratiquants très confirmés.
Les chiffres montrent que de nombreux
accidents impliquent la pratique de la
wingsuit, qu'en penses-tu ?

Avec tout cela, il ne faut pas oublier les
"miraculés" qui sont nombreux,
aussi incroyable que cela puisse paraître.
Il y a même des cas de traversée
de sapin en chute, qui se terminent
avec des blessures légères !!
