meilleure en terme d'accidentologie.
Une seule personne a tapé la tour
et elle s'en est sortie sans blessure grave.
Et un Français s'est fait mal à la cheville
suite à un atterrissage sur le dur.
Le briefing est efficace, mais c'est sûr
qu'après quatre ou cinq sauts, on est pris
dans le rush et tout s'accélère.
Ça commence à se lâcher et il y a aussi
la fatigue qui s'installe. Il faut faire attention
à ne pas tomber dans la griserie tout en se
laissant aller à dépasser ses limites.

Tu as fait combien de sauts durant
l'événement ?
J'en ai fait 101 ! En fait, j'ai voulu battre un
record et j'y suis parvenu. Depuis quelque
temps je travaille sur mes pliages pour en
développer l'efficacité et la rapidité. Et cet
été, comme j'ai pas mal sauté en Norvège,
je me suis chronométré : je suis à 6
minutes du «sac de transport au sac de
transport», et sans "stash bag" je suis
à 4 minutes 34 secondes sur mon pliage
"record". Le but est de plier plus vite sans
laisser de coté les vérifs essentielles
d'un pliage classique.

En discutant avec les organisateurs, je me
suis demandé quel était le record du
nombre de sauts sur l'événement.
Ce record était détenu par Gary Cunningham
avec 100 sauts en quatre jours et sans
plieur. Le record avec plieur est de 104
sauts. Et comme je plie vite, je me suis pris
au jeu d'essayer de battre ce record,
mais cette année il n'y avait que trois jours.
Le record équivalent sur trois jours était
de 75 sauts, mais je me suis fixé comme
objectif de battre le record de 100 sauts
sur trois jours.
