A background page in 9 steps Texture and transparency effect ! Creating your own layout, this is the passion of a huge number of our designers ! Always in perfect harmony with the colors of your papers and your photos, it brings a lot of originality to your composition. by Catherine Labeeu Soft colors and feminine details are present here to create a layout full of gentleness. I show here my preferred techniques for getting a layout full of texture and transparency. A few bits of printed papers, spray inks, plastic food wrap (yes! yes!) Distress inks, stencils and stamps are the basic tools to create a layout full of texture and tender colors. You will notice that this sort of background lends itself well to feminine photos and country scenes. The page-setting is perfectly set off by its arrangement which is full of volume.
