The exhibition at ICERP-2008 would be an ideal platform for the international companies to showcase the advanced materials, processes, machinery and product possibilities, while networking with the wide spectrum of Indian Manufacturers, Consultants and Users. Live demonstrations of the process machinery and fabrication technology are planned during the exhibition. ICERP-2008 has been envisaged with a bigger canvas, with larger participation by many overseas companies. Exhibition space of over 7,000 m2 area has been planned for ICERP 2008. Almost 80% of the exhibition space has already been booked by more than 80 Indian and International participants from all over the world. ICERP-2008 is expected to attract over 500 delegates and 6000 visitors for the exhibition. As part of ICERP-2008, a wide array of technological aspects of reinforced plastics would be addressed in the technical conference. The conference aims to encourage new concepts, techniques and case studies, which would lead to greater exploitation of advanced materials. The conference is also aimed to promote active exchange of scientific and technical information on the rapidly changing trends of advanced reinforced plastic materials. It would serve as an ideal forum for the consultants, end users, industry etc. for networking, exchanges and cross-fertilization of ideas. ICERP 2008 is being organized by FRP Institute, the leading society for reinforced plastics Industry in India. The event is being sponsored by Owens Corning India Ltd. and co sponsored by Kemrock Industries & Exports Ltd. and JEC group, France. FRP Institute has been collaborating with JEC, reinforced plastics, American Composite Manufacturers’ Association as well as China Composites Expo on regular basis for international exposure for the Indian reinforced plastics industry. ICERP 2008 is happening for the first time in Mumbai, the commercial capital of India. For the first time, FRP Institute forms association with JEC group, France to bring out the “2008 ICERP- JEC Innovation awards program”. The aim of the programme is to encourage innovations in the area of reinforced plastics in India and give them wider publicity in international media.
