The new system comprises a water-based mould sealer, WS-47, and a mat finish mould release W-7838D. The new water-based release system is designed to provide a mat surface on finished parts and meet the health and safety requirements of the EU, while remaining tough enough to withstand the rigours of the epoxy infusion process. Both XTEND WS-47 mould sealer and XTEND W7838D mould release are recommended for spray application on either ambient or heated tools.
