There is one exhauster for two sections. The workspace dimensions of a section are: width 3 m, height 2 m, depth 1.75 m. Depending on the number of assembled sections, the total depth is 3.5, 5.25, 7, 8.75, 10.5, 12.25, or 14 meters, giving a total work space volume of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 or 80 m3. The smallest oven includes two sections for 20 m3. The ovens are shipped in 40” HQ containers, with one container for 3 sections. They are easy to install, by simply assembling the sections together on the customer’s premises. Many different options are available to meet each customer’s requirements, including: - stainless steel interior, special colour exterior, - vertical lift doors, - access ports, vacuum and pressure ports, piping and pumps, - temperature, pressure and vacuum recorders. France Etuves is proud to announce a new range of big walk-in ovens for composites curing, coating and drying applications. The ovens are split into sections for easy shipment, which also reduces manufacturing costs, resulting in a very affordable price for the customer. Characteristics include excellent air flow and temperature uniformity at a 200°C maximum operating temperature, RAL 7035 painted steel exterior, galvanized steel interior, electrical cabinet with the main temperature controller, and easy lorry access. Fibre spreading is a technology that involves widening and flattening the fibre bundle to produce shaped products that are ultra lightweight and extremely thin. By expanding the raw thread to several times its width, low-priced carbon fibres (such as 12k) can now be used to manufacture products that previously could only be made with high-priced carbon fibres such as 1k and 3k. Fibre expansion enhances the filament’s straightness and greatly increases specific strength. Thermoplastic resin impregnation is also significantly improved, with a much lower void content.
