With a capacity for 15 people, the autonomous, driverless
electric shuttle developed by NAVYA is an unprecedented
solution for mobility that is smart, clean and efficient. The
AUTONOM SHUTTLE resolves the problem of the first and
last kilometre, with the guarantee of high-performing autonomous transportation, and gentle handling that makes
for a comfortable ride.

he AUTONOM SHUTTLE
was designed to meet the
specific requirements of an
autonomous, driverless vehicle,
with optimised navigation and
safety features. The shuttle uses
high-performing navigation and
detection systems and therefore
has neither steering wheel nor
pedal. These systems bring together several cutting-edge technologies, such as Lidar sensors,
cameras, GPS with RTK, IMU
and odometer. Data from these
sensors is merged, then associated with deep learning software,
which is how the AUTONOM
SHUTTLE is able to move about
efficiently and make the best decisions for the situation - all without
a driver. Before, during and after
the trip, AUTONOM SHUTTLE
offers a comprehensive solution
for continuous, seamless mobility.

JCM: How did the idea for creating Navya come about?
Thomas Morard: NAVYA arose
from the fusion of its founder's
greatest passions, that of the automobile and high-tech, which he
skilfully combined. His ambition
was to create autonomous vehicles
that would respond to the threefold
challenge encountered by transportation ecosystems: economic,
environmental and social. This

is how NAVYA came into being.
Today, mobility services are evolving, with a shift from using personal vehicles towards solutions for individual or shared mobility, which
are used instead as a "service".
Created in 2014, NAVYA was the
first to introduce and implement
solutions for autonomous mobility onto the market. With 280 employees in France and in the United
States, NAVYA aspires to be the in-
