Arevo is enabling manufacturing-as-a-service for delivering

February that 3DPC is its new partner
in its composite Manufacturing-asa-Service (MaaS) programme for
the on-demand production of ultra-strong, lightweight thermoplastic
composite parts. To demonstrate its
capabilities, the company is introducing the e-Moto, the world's first composite e-bike/e-scooter hybrid.
From concept to production
MaaS-produced parts are made possible by Arevo's Aqua platform, the
world's first industrial-grade, fully-automated robotic system capable of producing thermoplastic composite parts
of up to one metre cubic volume, and
Arevo's Xplorator™ software, the first
fully-integrated composite toolchain
that accelerates product development
from concept to production.
With breakthroughs in software, robotics, and materials science, the
company can provide composite parts
with unprecedented low cost, true
production scale and reduced design
cycles for a wide range of products.
The e-Moto concept vehicle results
from a collaboration between Arevo

and StudioWest and represents a novel
solution to urban transport problems:
an easy-to-ride, energy-efficient personal mobility vehicle.
Innovative thermoplastic parts
The company is looking forward to
meeting with representatives from the
consumer, industrial and aerospace
sectors to demonstrate how the MaaS
service can produce truly innovative
thermoplastic composite parts, as
shown by the e-Moto. The easy-to-use
Xplorator™ software accelerates design cycles for composite parts from

months to hours. The MaaS infrastructure significantly improves the time-tomarket and ROI in the development
and production of new micromobility
vehicles, sporting goods, eVTOLs,
commercial drones and satellites.
In addition to the e-Moto, Arevo is
developing samples ranging from
custom composite sporting goods
to aerospace parts engineered for

of concept, or shall we see it
on our roads one day?
Hemant Bheda: The e-Moto is
not an experiment or a one-off
project to demonstrate the capabilities of our Aqua 3D-printing platform. The e-Moto comes from the

same team that created the world's
first 3D-printed carbon fibre bike
frame, which is now in commercial
production in the USA and Europe
by two manufacturers who adapted
the concept with their own designs.
Therefore, we see real commercial
possibilities for the e-Moto.
