(p5/..) Composite materials, and particularly CFRP, do not have a good reputation
in terms of sustainability, environmental impact and recyclability. What is your
vision of the issue and how do you plan
to act?

A. L.: The issue of recycling is of great

importance to us. At the end of 2019,
we launched a CIRCE project, a circular economy model for carbon fibre prepregs. HP, together with three industrial partners - Alci, Base Protection and
Petroceramics - and the Cetma research
centre launched this project whose final
objective is to enhance industrial waste
such as untreated carbon fibre waste to
transform it into a raw material for different applications. CIRCE is the first programme that will provide a solution to
the material recycling issue.

Staff training has always been an important issue for your company. How is it developing?

A. L.: I have always maintained that one
of HP's strengths is the training of professionals - the growth of our internal
resources mainly results from this. Our
training school was created to respond to
this need and a specialized training pro-

laboration between the academic and the
business worlds through the exchange of
knowledge and the implementation of
common projects is essential to promote
the economic and social growth of the area. For this reason, we activated over the
last few years various initiatives aimed at
training new generations: a post-graduate course to train technicians with highly specialized knowledge and skills in
the composite materials and Industry
4.0 supply chain organized in collaboration with ITS of Recanati, which will take
place at the IIS Fermi - Sacconi-Ceci of
Ascoli Piceno, and a post-graduate course
on composite materials engineering intended for students with a three-year
degree in science, organized in collaboration with the University Polytechnic
of the Marche. In addition to these two
projects, a course on composite materials engineering was also launched at
the Polytechnic University of Marche,
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, in
addition to a high-level post- graduate
specialized course on smart technologies
and innovative materials.

preparation of the courses is entrusted to
expert teachers in the sector, who study
the most suitable solution to best respond
to all the demands of our customers. The
