Fairmat will be recycling more than 30% of
the industry's carbon fi bre waste in Europe.
Fairmat, a French deeptech

to the virtuous recycling
of carbon fi bre composites,
announced that it will
be recycling more than 30%
of Europe's carbon-fi bre
composite production waste. Th is originates mainly from
the aeronautics and wind energy markets. Fairmat has also
created numerous partnerships with emblematic customers
who are att racted by its solution.

FACC inaugurates its new high-tech plant in Croatia
Aft er a construction period of 10 months, the new FACC
Plant 6 went into operation in December 2021. At this
new facility, the company is manufacturing lightweight
components for the cabin interiors of business jets and
passenger aircraft . Th is important strategic milestone was
celebrated together with 400
invited guests and the entire
Croatian workforce. During
the offi cial opening of the plant,
the next expansion phase of the
site was announced. Expansion
stages 2 and 3, which will see a
threefold increase in the size of the plant, will be started with
immediate eff ect.
Safran inaugurates the extension of
its aircraft nacelle site in Casablanca
Th is extension of nearly 6,000 m²
is dedicated to the production of
the high-end Gulfstream G700/
G800 business aircraft nacelles.
Th e site will become even more
effi cient through an industrial
development plan which will allow an increase in production rates
of nacelles for customers. Safran has invested 11 million euros
in the site, which integrates the highest standards in the aviation
industry. It thus becomes the Safran's reference site in Morocco,
supporting a strong ambition to digitalise its production processes

Daher completes its acquisition of the Stuart,
Florida aerostructures production facility
Daher has marked a major expansion
of
its U.S. industrial presence
by acquiring the metallic and
composite aerostructures assembly
facility in Stuart, Florida, reinforcing the
company's position as a Tier 1 supplier for
aircraft manufacturers in North America and beyond. Th e completion
of this acquisition from Triumph was announce on 4th July 2022,
bringing Stuart's approximately 400 employees into Daher's Industry
Division - which already is a major supplier of complex aerostructures
for leading airframers.

The HBH group announces the acquisition of the Carboman group
Th e HBH group which is led
by Damien Harlé and JeanDenis
Bargibant, of which Ouest
Composites Industries is a key
company, fi nalised the takeover of
the Carboman France group which
included Multiplast, Plastinov and
Plasteol. Th e objective of this merger
is to create a true benchmark operation in the world of composites,
capable of delivering a broader off ering to the whole of this market.
Th is initiative to increase external growth was started at the end
of 2021 ahead of the anticipated retirement of the President of the
Carboman Group, Dominique Dubois who is due to participate in
the 2023 Ocean Globe Race.

9T Labs to open fi rst offi ce in the US, Boston
9T Labs, specialists in digital,
automated, cost-competitive
series production of continuous
fi bre components, is set to open
its inaugural offi ce in Boston,
aft er being offi cially incorporated
in the United States
in June.
Th e decision has been taken following the company's plans for
expansion with its Series A funding round earlier this year,
which raised $17-million USD to help further commercialise the
innovative 9T Labs Red Series® Additive Fusion Solution platform
for the production of advanced continuous fi bre-reinforced
thermoplastic (CFRTP) composite parts.
