“By developing a customized software solution—Dewberry’s
LiDAR Processor—to process LiDAR data, we created a seamless
topobathymetric surface along the Sandy River in Oregon, measuring
depths ranging from zero to three meters within 90 percent of the
project area. We developed new software because this pilot project was
one of the first of this scale on the commercial market.”

team for a secure-housing facility for the California
Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, taking the
existing youth correctional facility and re-purposing it
into a level two facility for adult males. Key components

medical clinic, visiting area, kitchen, and gymnasium.”

“We developed emergency action plans (EAP) for levee failures or
breaches that addressed the needs of emergency and floodplain
management. Our work contributes to Maricopa County’s ability
to maintain discounts for flood insurance premiums to property
owners in the community. Levee EAPs can be translated to any
community in the U.S. with a levee that protects a community.”
