Water Treatment in Colorado
Dewberry is currently designing UV disinfection equipment for Montezuma Water Company (MWC), a non-profit corporation that provides drinking water to more than 10,000 people within nearly 1,000 square miles in Montezuma, Dolores, and San Miguel counties, Colorado. The equipment will increase the capability to inactivate Giardia, a bacteria, and Cryptosporidium, a protozoan, while reducing the required chlorine dose, which is required for MWC to meet compliance under the Stage 2 Disinfection Byproducts Rule administered by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the Clean Water Act.
Partnering with TerraGo
Using TerraGo® Publisher™ for ArcGIS®, Dewberry now has the ability to produce customized GeoPDF® maps through Esri ArcGIS assets. TerraGo GeoPDF maps and imagery serve as a platform for geospatial applications and for moving spatially aware information between users and systems. The GeoPDF maps can include storm surge inundation, evacuation zones, critical facilities and community infrastructure, population data, roadway networks, and satellite imagery.
Electric PEP Stations
Dewberry has established a turnkey teaming program with Plug-in Electric Power (PEP) Stations represented by Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellem’s division. Through the agreement, Dewberry offers public and private organizations turn-key installation of PEP Stations, a dual port level 2 commercial electric vehicle charging station. Besides charging, these stations have features to configure hours of operation, calculate user statistics, and manage access and rates. Through its design-build entity, Dewberry offers the construction and installation of the stations.
The GeoPDF of hurricane vulnerability in Horry County, South Carolina, displays critical facilities, an evacuation zone, the 100-year floodplain, and evacuation routes. The navigation panel allows users to view the contents of the map and turn layers on and off.
