New ISTAT Board Directors Announced
At ISTAT Americas in Austin, two new board
members were elected to the ISTAT Board
of Directors: Sarah Aoun of Airbus and
Peter Negline of BOC Aviation Limited.
Thank you to all candidates who ran in this
year's election. ISTAT would also like to
share a heartfelt thank you to the board members whose terms expired: Jep
Thornton of Aerolease Aviation LLC and Richard Owen Walker of Airbus.

New ISTAT Foundation Chair and Trustees
The ISTAT Foundation
welcomed a new chair,
Peter Huijbers of PH
Aviation Asia Ltd., who
will serve in the role
through March 2023.
Richard Goodhead and Jean Stein also joined the Foundation board as trustees. In
addition, the ISTAT Foundation would like to recognize and thank outgoing trustees
Damon J D'Agostino of Zephyrus Aviation Capital (who served as vice chair from
2017-2020 and chair from 2015-2017), Mary Ellen S. Jones of Pratt & Whitney and
Rod Sheridan of Nordic Aviation Capital A/S.

IAP Business Meeting and Con Ed
The IAP held its Business Meeting & Continuing Education session in conjunction
with ISTAT Americas. The session was well attended, and topics discussed included
USPAP, ESG and how ratings agencies utilize appraisal services.
Certification exams were held immediately prior to ISTAT Americas. Two ISTAT
Certified Appraisers sat for the exam to become Senior Appraisers, and eight
Appraiser Candidates sat for exams to become Appraisers. Congrats to the newly
certified Appraisers from ISTAT Americas 2020: Piyush Bansal, ICF; Paul O'Driscoll,
Setanta Technologies; and Jian Zhu, Alton Aviation Consultancy.

IAP Election
Results
Earlier this year,
ISTAT Certified
Senior Appraiser
Bryson Monteleone
was elected to
another threeyear term as
chair of the ISTAT
Appraisers Program.
Additionally, ISTAT
Certified Senior
Appraisers Olga
Razzhivina and
Stuart Rubin were
retained as IAP vice
chair and secretary,
respectively.
ISTAT Certified
Senior Appraiser Rikard
deJounge's contributions to the
IAP were recognized with the
granting of the honorary title
of Fellow. With Rikard stepping
down from his role as a member
of the IBG Exams Committee,
ISTAT Certified Senior Appraiser
Kara Levine was elected to
replace him. Mark PearmanWright was selected as a NonAppraiser member of the IBG, and
David Berkowitz was selected for
another two-year term.
