ISTAT Jetrader - Summer 2021 - 3

Mylene Scholnick of Amazon Air as well as new board members Adam Pilarksi
of Avitas, Mamoun Kuzbari of Novus and Adrian Dharsan of SMBC Aviation. The
current composition of our board is the most diverse it has ever been, and while
the association still has work to do, we are very pleased with the trajectory we
are on.
We did say goodbye to several members who rolled off the ISTAT Board this
past year. John Vitale, Doug Runte, Michael Weiss and Kostya Zolotusky all
provided the board with enormous energy, creativity and continuity over the years
they served and will be missed by all of us. I wish to thank each of them for all
they have done for ISTAT.
Finally, I'd like to thank my predecessor Gerry Butler for his dedicated efforts
on behalf of ISTAT. This past year has been challenging for all of us involved
with ISTAT, but none more than Gerry. In his typical affable style, Gerry steered
us through the hazards over the past year and kept us on task and mindful of
our mandate. Our association owes him a tremendous debt of gratitude, and
I personally wish to thank him for the time and effort he has spent on ISTATrelated
matters and, most importantly,
for his friendship. I can only hope to live
up to the standard he has set for the
position of ISTAT Board president.
