But the reality is, most conferences have limited speaking slots on the mainstage, a necessary scheduling restriction when there's a lot of ground to cover in a short time. e LTEN Talks, however, are a unique way to extend the ability to bring industry leaders to LTEN members. In addition to three keynote speaker sessions, the Learning Labs and more than 60 workshops, the LTEN Talks brings five top speakers to the main stage in one focused session. ink of them like TED Talks, only live and in-person for you. e LTEN Talks will help to wrap up the 45th LTEN Annual Conference, taking place from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. ET on ursday, June 16. Here's who you'll be connecting with: * Kicking things oﬀ at 10 a.m. ET is Pat Scott, president and CEO of Uhmms. Scott will be talking about "Getting a Squirrel to Focus," addressing how to handle short attention spans in training. * Next up will be Kevin Glover, corporate vice president, clinical education, training and outcomes research, B. Braun Medical. Glover will be speaking about "A New Era in Collaboration: Conducting Randomized Educational Outcomes Research," spotlighting the partnership between a medical device company and teaching hospital. * Following that will be Ryan Graver, president of MedAxiom Ventures. Graver will be speaking on a topic important to every LTEN member, the ACA and its impact on life sciences training. * en you'll hear from Mike Capaldi, associate vice president, civic action, sponsorships, education & compliance, for Sanofi. Capaldi will talk with you about "Examining the Value of Biopharmaceutical Innovation." Melore will share with you "A Patient's Story as It Relates to Pharmaceutical Innovation."
