In order to maximize your experience and your investment, you have to keep track of a lot of things. Learning Village hours, meal times, reception times, general session and workshop times, topics and speakers. If you're attending as part of a team, throw in whatever schedules and plans arrived with the group. As challenges go, it's not exactly rocket science. But it takes a good bit of planning, adherence to schedules and effort. It also takes a good app. Fortunately, we've got you covered there. is year's conference app is now available for download through your smart phone app store (search LTEN conference) or from You'll find it an invaluable way to navigate the conference and it also helps add a sense of fun and community to the event. e features you'd expect to find are all there: * Interactive tools to help you customize your agenda. 5,394 posts * An activity feed to see event news, share your experience and view what your LTEN colleagues are sharing. 1,847 * e ability to connect with other attendees. Made comments * Mobile tools like polling, games and sharing. * Workshop evaluation forms. Checked in * Interactive maps of the Learning Village expo hall, workshop sessions and the hotel. 735 times * Speaker session descriptions and bios. * Search tools to help you find the resources you need. As with last year's app, conference attendees can also play while they learn at the event. Basically, every time you update your status, upload a pic, check in or rate a session, you earn badges and prizes, with results tracked on a leaderboard throughout the conference. Speaking of fun challenges, here's something to try: Let's beat last year's numbers. At the 2015 LTEN Annual Conference, LTEN members used the conference app in recordsetting numbers, shown on the le column. ose are great numbers, but building on last year's usage shouldn't be too difficult. Be sure to check out the app in advance of the event, and use it throughout the conference. Also, new this year, we are adding a Career Center section of the mobile app, serving up new career opportunities directly in the app. See the app section of the LTEN conference website,, for more details. Again, you can download the app by searching "LTEN conference" on your smart phone app store, or by visiting ■ Bookmarked 4,647 items 32 Tim Sosbe is editor of Focus magazine and editorial director for LTEN.
