or the last 33 years, I have had the
privilege and honor to work in this
industry in many different functions and
responsibilities and with some amazing people.
But, there has never been a more exciting time
and rewarding opportunity that has been
entrusted to me than being named president of
the LTEN Board of Directors, leading an
organization of learning professionals
dedicated to advancing global life sciences
learning. Over my
career in life sciences
learning and education,
I have seen how LTEN
has fostered the careers
of our members,
cultivated
environments for
networking and been a
source of innovative
learning solutions for
the complex and
evolving life sciences
industry.
I share your passion
for learning and
understand the
responsibility that I
have in serving and
bringing value to you -
our members of LTEN.
You have my
commitment to be an
accountable steward of
this great organization
and a champion for
each of you throughout
your careers.

At LTEN we are in an unprecedented phase
of growth, but I believe you have only seen the
tip of the iceberg. As an organization, our
membership has reached an all-time high.
Never in the long history of LTEN (and
previously SPBT and NSPST) have we had as
many members as we do today, and we are
continuing to grow. For those that attended last
years' annual conference in Nashville, you were
also a part of this organization's history by
participating in the most well-attended
conference ever! But, the possibilities to grow
your career, network and engage with other life
sciences professionals is so much greater.
My message to you all is to get involved.
Engage with other like-minded, smart and
passionate people. Have you logged in to your
LTEN portal lately? If not, I urge you to do so.
You will be blown away at the resources and
opportunities to connect with others. Register
for the annual conference and take advantage of
the early bird discount. Next year's conference
promises to be even more spectacular. Write an
article and share your knowledge and insights
with others in LTEN Focus on Training
magazine. But, whatever you decide ... get
involved ... get engaged. Scan the QR code on
