As PASS continues to grow, the goal is to have
it serve as a universal resource tracking affiliation
history for MSPs, hospitals and other relevant
healthcare organizations. It will be rewarding to
watch it expand and as many believe, become
a part of the overall ideal credentialing solution.
Change is inevitable for all of us at some
point in all of our careers . We should view
it as an opportunity to grow and improve,
and NAMSS can do its members a great
service by staying at the forefront and being
strategic . It can be challenging and it can
be difficult at times, but also rewarding .
I am sure NAMSS will continue to help
communicate and educate on the relevant
changes and recognize the support that the
memberships may need as we all go down
the road together .

MW: NAMSS is a friendly, tight-knit
organization. Can you tell our members
one fun fact about yourself to help them
get you know you better?
LB: You are so correct about the members
of NAMSS . The people I have met so far
have all made me feel so welcome and I can
tell that the board is very hardworking and
committed to NAMSS and its membership
but that they are also friends and respected
colleagues, too .

As for me, people who know me know that
one way to get me to smile immediately
is to ask me about my puppy, Bailey . I
received her as a gift on St . Patrick’s Day
two years ago and she is a sweetheart . I
always laugh when I am around her and
most people who own dogs know that
when you are playing with them, especially
puppies, you are “in the moment” and
all stress goes out the door . This is a new
thing for me as I haven’t had a dog since
I was very young . My family and friends
are amazed how I have changed into this
person who loves buying dog sweaters and
coats for this little thing and they ask if I will
ever sit on the household furniture again, as
I am always on the floor playing with her .
