Meet the NAMSS 2014 Board of Directors

W

e are very excited to share the results of the recent NAMSS Board of Directors election and to introduce you to your 2014 Board of
Directors. We would like to sincerely thank all of the members who voted in this year's election and all of the candidates who
generously volunteered through this year's call for directors.

Every year, NAMSS holds a call for directors and officers during which members who meet the criteria and qualifications can self-nominate to open
positions. The NAMSS Nominating Committee, comprising NAMSS and state leaders, is then charged with examining the candidates and evaluating
them alongside the needs of the NAMSS Board and Strategic Plan. The candidates are evaluated on numerous criteria, including education, years in
the profession, state and national association service, reference evaluations, and candidate interviews. After their thorough evaluation, the Nominating
Committee puts forth a slate to be voted on by the membership. The members have voted, and we are proud to welcome these new leaders!
