namss focus

Every year, NAMSS holds
a call for directors and
officers during which
members who meet the
criteria and qualifications
can self-nominate to open
positions. The NAMSS
Nominating Committee,
comprised of NAMSS
leaders and state leaders, is
then charged with evaluating
the candidates alongside the
needs of the NAMSS Board
and the Strategic Plan. The
candidates are examined on
numerous different criteria,
including education, years
in the profession, state and
national association service,
reference evaluations, and
candidate interviews. After
their thorough evaluation, the
Nominating Committee puts
forth a slate to be approved
by the Board and voted on
by the full membership. The
members have voted, and
NAMSS is proud to welcome
these new NAMSS leaders!
