You can also make technology work for you
with some practical fixes: you can "flag" the
review, which prompts the website to send
a message to the client asking the client to
reconsider its review. During the time period of
reconsideration, you could reach out to the client
yourself and try to remedy the situation privately.
You can also minimize the impact of the negative
review with search engine optimization. Push
the negative reviews down the page by asking
satisfied clients to post more recent positive
reviews. You can also ask these happy clients to
post positive reviews on Google or Yelp, which are
highly trafficked and will decrease the likelihood
that the negative review will show up in a Google
search. And-after you have done your best, put
the negative review behind you, put your devices
down, and move on to your next client and the
challenges that you will face and conquer there.
