Despite the cancellation of the Annual
Conference in April, the Board of Directors did
meet remotely on April 23, 2020. Regretfully,
we accepted the resignation of Laurel Gift as
our Western District Vice President due to her
accepting an impressive new position as the
University of Pittsburgh's Assistant Vice Chancellor
for Ethics, Compliance & Investigations. We
congratulate Laurel on this accomplishment. We
are now engaged in a search for a new Western
District Vice President. Any interested members
should contact me or Beth Winters to formally
express your interest as soon as possible.

Prussia. Of course, we will make sure all members
are notified well in advance of the scheduling
of the annual membership meeting, which we
encourage you to attend.
PACDL remains committed to serve you in
these difficult times. If you have a suggestion
for additional ways we can accomplish this

Beth Winters or me. We will continue to succeed
together.

In the meantime, and in accordance with our
bylaws, our remaining current officers have
agreed to continue to serve in their positions
until the annual membership meeting can
be rescheduled. If the Annual Conference
is rescheduled, we plan to have an annual
membership meeting at that time, as has been
our tradition. If the Annual Conference is not
rescheduled, the annual membership meeting
will be scheduled in conjunction with one of our
remaining seminars: our White Collar Practice
Seminar scheduled for November 19 and 20,
2020 in Philadelphia or our Capital Case Seminar
