Notice of 2020 PACDL Annual
Meeting Information
The 2020 Annual Membership Meeting of PACDL is scheduled for Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. via
the Zoom Platform. The invitation link can be accessed here. The Annual Membership Meeting is being held
for the purposes of the election of officers and directors, consideration of the legislative platform, changes in
the bylaws and for any and all other business that may come before the membership.

*Note: Mr. Kratsa currently serves as PACDL President after having ascended to the office in September 2019
following the resignation of the prior president. Under the bylaws, Mr. Kratsa retains the office of President for
the 2020-2021 term and has the option to renew his tenure for an additional term in 2021.
Platform Consideration: The 2020-2021 proposed redline platform is available for your review. It is the policy
blueprint for PACDL's legislative activity and is scheduled for consideration at the PACDL Annual membership
meeting. Thank you to the members of the platform committee for their efforts.
Proposed Bylaw Amendments: The PACDL Board of Directors is proposing changes to its bylaws. A copy
of the redlined proposed bylaws can be found here. The changes will clarify some ambiguities in terms of
officer resignations.

PACDL Foundation for Justice
Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Foundation for Justice is
scheduled for Thursday, October 1 immediately following the PACDL Annual Membership Meeting via the
Zoom Platform. The Foundation Annual Meeting is being held for any and all business, including election of
board members.
Notice of Election: Elections to serve on the Board of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense
Lawyers Foundation for Justice will be held at the Annual Meeting. In accordance with Article IV, Section 3 of
the Foundation Bylaws, no more than eight (8) Directors of the Board shall be elected by the members of the
Association at its annual meeting.
