r + d r+d New Jeti Titan S and HS Flatbeds from Agfa Agfa has launched its new Jeti Titan S and HS flatbed UV-inkjet printers. Both new printers can accommodate 122 x 79-in. rigid media and utilize Ricoh Gen 5 printheads (1280 nozzles, 7-pL droplet size). The Titan S (the "S" stands for "speed") is equipped with one row of printheads but can be upgraded in the field to two rows, becoming a Titan HS ("high speed"). The printers feature a CMYKcm + white inkset, using Agfa Graphics' fast-curing Anuvia UV-curable inks designed specifically for high-end production platforms. Various white-print modes are supported, including overprint, underprint, spot, under-spot, fill, over-spot for rigids, and pre-white for roll media. An automated recirculation system for white ink is standard. Top print speed is 1722 sq ft/hr; max. resolution is 720 x 1200 dpi.
