Mimaki has launched the TS500P-3200, a 129-in. dye-sublimation printer designed
for superwide textile markets such as home furnishings, hospitality fabrics, and
retail signage.
The TS500P-3200 features 12 high gap printheads arranged in three staggered
rows, reaching print speeds up to 1937 sq ft/hr. As a further precaution against wrinkling, an automatic media feeder applies calibrated tension.
Additional features include waveform control technology that sets the optimum
jetting angle for each ink color; variable droplet printing; Mimaki Advanced Pass
System 4 to reduce banding, stripes, and uneven ink drying; a nozzle check unit and
recovery system; and a 3-L bulk-ink system.
