3A Composites Reveals New
Graphic Display Boards

3A Composites USA has launched the Pro Series of
graphic display boards at ISA Sign Expo 2017. The Pro
Series includes Gatorfoam Pro, Sintra Edge, and
Foam-X Pro, and will expand later in 2017, according
to the company. Each product is available in 48 x
96-in. sheets.
Gatorfoam Pro offers dimensional stability; dent,
warp, and scratch resistance; and increased ink
adhesion. The display board is composed of polystyrene foam and veneer laminate, designed to be both
rigid and lightweight.
Sintra Edge is a black PVC board with a low-gloss,
matte fi nish and Pro surface coating in white on one
side for direct printing applications. 3A Composites
reports the line is heat-formable and resistant to
chemicals, dents, and scratches, and does not require
precoating or laminating.
The Foam-X Pro line is designed for memory
retention and printability, comprised of rigid polystyrene foam between two clay-coated paper liners. The
company reports Foam-X Pro can be die-cut without
creating pillowed edges.
Jeti Ceres UV LED Printer from Agfa

Agfa has launched the Jeti Ceres RTR3200 LED, a 126-in. UV LED printer for
indoor and outdoor applications. The machine offers 6 colors + optional primer
and white and features dual-sided printing with an integrated camera system for
more precise registration for backlit and blockout printing. Max. print speed is
2002 sq ft/hr. The Ceres can also handle two rolls, each up to 60 in. wide.
Additional features include the ability to automatically skip white in both slow
and fast modes, media free fall for immediate finishing, an automatic media edge
detection sensor, the Asanti workflow system, an anti-static bar, automatic head
height adjustment, and front and back foot pedals for loading and unloading.
Textured Overlaminates from 3M

3M has launched the Décor Overlaminate 8600 Series with five new
textured cast vinyl patterns. Classic Linen, Knit, White Fir, Riverbed, and
Plaster add texture to digitally printed wallcoverings and utilize a protective
matte fi nish, according to 3M. Available in 60-in. rolls.
