Crossroads Lead to Client Success

ColorDynamics (colordynamics.com) is the
Southwest's largest privately held commercial
printer offering sheet-fed, web, digital, and
wide-format printing. The company has a
solid reputation for providing innovative
graphic communication services that exceed

With objectives to continually improve its
services, ColorDynamics recognized it was at a
crossroads. Increasing wide-format workloads
required operating two full shifts, yet seasonal
upticks impacted workflow. ColorDynamics

knew it needed an additional high-speed
printer to gain more retail business.
"We want to complete jobs without
some projects stacking up while producing a
massive retail order," says John Ehrenberger,
executive VP of ColorDynamics. "It was natural
to consider Agfa's flagship Jeti Tauro H3300
LED. We chose the fully-automated Tauro
H3300 LED hybrid to increase production
efficiency. We can output more than 80
boards per hour in production mode with
incredible vibrancy, which is increasing our
output capacity by two and a half times."
ColorDynamics chose the Tauro H3300
LED with full automation featuring a feeding/
unloading system that processes four boards
automatically. The ruggedly built Tauro
prints up to 130 inches wide at speeds up to
4876 square feet per hour up to 635 x 1200
dpi resolution, and can comfortably handle
extreme workloads, multiple shift operations,

and 24/7 printing. ColorDynamics opted for
the 6C+W configuration.
"Our business is evolving. Today's customers
demand short-run, variable print products
shipped to multiple locations nationwide,"
explains Ehrenberger. "We're doing more
direct-to-store work, customizing jobs for each
location and ripping files quickly. The new
Tauro H3300 LED achieves exceptional quality
and delivers campaigns with unprecedented
speed. We're proud that no other printer in the
region can match our capabilities."
