Enfocus has revealed Switch Fall 2019, the latest version
of the company's automation and workflow software. New
features include enhancements to Web Portal, including
news feed for admins, starting and stopping flows, new
submitpoints views, and logged-in users history; improvements to Switch Designer such as added security
compatibility with FTPS and ability to add submitpoints,
checkpoints, and submit hierarchy to job boards; additions
to Remote Process including ability to send aborted job
notifications; and Dashboard improvements.

Durst Rho 2500
Modular Industrial Printer Series

Durst has launched the Rho 2500 Series of flatbed printers, available in three
configurations: Rho 2500 S with six printhead rows reaching print speeds of 195
boards/hr, Rho 2500 M with eight printhead rows reaching print speeds of 255
boards/hr, and Rho 2500 L with 10 printhead rows reaching print speeds of 380
boards/hr. The Rho 2500 Series is equipped with 8-pL printheads with Variodrop printing technology for high-res CMYK graphics up to 1000 x 800 dpi in
high-resolution printing mode. The presses are engineered to image media up to
98 in. wide, 1.57 in. thick, and weighing up to 110 lb, and are equipped with
Durst Workflow Print production software and Durst Analytics monitoring tool.
The series' modular configuration allows users to upgrade to a larger print
setup or integrate optional add-ons such as cm + white ink colors, stacker for ¾ or
full automation, dual-track printing mode, safe ink refill identification system, and
camera control on the outside of the printer while operating the monitor screen.

Roland DGA has launched the IU-1000F UV-LED flatbed
printer engineered for high-volume production of PETG, PVC
board, foamboard, wood, corrugated board, aluminum plate,
metal, canvas, leather, fabric, tabletops, and more up to 98.8 x
51.5 in. With 12 printheads and a 4.3-in. carriage clearance,
the press prints edge to edge with a max. speed of 1249 sq ft/
hr or 35 boards/hr. Additional features include banding and
mottling prevention technology; 635 x 1800-dpi resolution;
variable dot technology; high-density, high-adhesion UV inks
for full-color printing onto metal, glass and acrylic with
primer ink for added adhesion; one-touch, automated daily
printhead cleaning; and more. Applications include tradeshow displays, interior décor, signage, and more.

Mactac Anti-Graﬃti Laminate

Mactac has launched PermaColor PermaGard SAG 38 1.5-mil high-gloss
laminate series, engineered to protect graphics and windows from graffiti,
light abrasion, UV ray graphic fading, dirt, moisture, and more. Designed
with optical clarity, the fi lm can also be used to protect one-way vision/
perforated window fi lms, according to the company. PermaColor PermaGard SAG 38 is engineered for short-term outdoor installations and indoor
displays of up to five years. Offered in 54-in. rolls.
