Two Decades of Innovation
For 20 years, HBA Global is where industry-changing packaging and partners debuted.

This year, HBA Global celebrates 20 years of partnering with leading associations, suppliers of products that have changed the beauty and personal care product development landscape, and the many attendees who source products at HBA to help bring their concepts to consumers. “With our headquarters located in west Texas, we don’t get the daily chance to get up close and personal with new products and innovations,” says Wayne Beckley, founder of Merlot Skincare. “HBA is a huge opportunity each year to not only see the best in the business of beauty packaging, but to also get up to date on what’s happening in the industry—from science to social media.” Some of the exciting and game changing innovations announced or introduced at the HBA include: dualchamber airless dispensers; sustainable packaging materials and components; vegetable-based soaps; click-pen/soft-tip applicators; high performance ingredients including naturals, botanicals and fragrance oils; dual-duty beauty products; tube and delivery system innovations; soft-touch compacts and caps; new decorating, labeling and molds; and new testing and analytical equipment. 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Special Events Hall at the Javits Center in New York. During the festivities, open to all attendees, the International Package Design Award (IPDA) winners will be announced as well as first-day attendee choices for the Best of Splash and Exhibitors New Products. For those who can’t attend the event, HBA has gathered memories and photos from pillars in the industry and posted them on its website at www. hbaexpo.com/ 20years. Visitors to the HBA website will find colorful stories from 3C, Arrowpack, Qosmedix and Twincraft on how they got started in the business, their greatest innovations, the brands and people that inspire them, and a peek at future developments. “We’ve been attending HBA for eight years with our brand, Merlot Skin Care. Here’s to 20 more years, HBA!” said Beckley.
