The Sweet Point Pepper diamond-cut pouch is an example of how to use matte
over-varnish to dramatically
improve a design. The combination of vibrant colors, highresolution printing and
registered, matte, over-print
varnish gives the pouch a
three-dimensional appearance. It is printed with ninecolor rotogravure and includes
a proprietary combination of
orientated polyester and cast
PP film for excellent clarity. The
2.0-mil structure represents a
40% reduction in solid waste,
compared to typical PET/lowdensity polyethylene standup
pouches, and the Press-toClose zipper uses 30% less
material.

NatureFlex Innovia Films is a
family of biobased flexible
packaging film alternative to
traditional petroleum-based
plastics. It is certified compostable, made from renewable resources and provides
high-oxygen, oil and moisture
barriers needed for many food
and home products. Typical
structures include standup
pouches, bags, flow wrap,
twist wrap, sachets, paper
laminates and box overwrap.

Lightweight gusseted bags can be inherently tamper-evident and distinctive on-shelf solution for delivering more
impact at retail. Many standup, gusseted bags are also less
expensive than decorated bottles when the combined cost
of a printed label/ sleeve going on a bottle is considered.
