Kleenex Goes Punk

Collaboration with fashion designer Betsey
Johnson transforms personal care staple
into statement piece.

imberly-Clark continues to bring strong fashion-forward design to a product previously associated more
with sneezes than style. The Kleenex "Ready to Care"
Collection, created in collaboration with renowned fashion
designer Betsey Johnson, includes a mix of bold, eye-catching
designs. It also brings the brand closer to its roots (originally conceived as a disposable makeup cleansing towel) as a style tool
than previous expressions of fashioned Kleenex boxes, such as
the now iconic watermelon tissue box.
"I am so excited to announce my product collaboration with
Kleenex brand-our designs are bright, bold, pretty and punk!"
Johnson says. "I've always loved the product, but this line is
about more than just the tissues-the boxes are perfect to hold
makeup brushes and the wallet packs can hold all of your cards!
I can't wait for everyone to get their hands on this rocking line."
Eric Higgs, brand director, Kleenex, adds, "It's evident that Betsey Johnson really cares about creating a product that makes
people feel good about themselves and helps them make a
statement, which aligns with the priorities that we have as a
brand. Our collaboration with her has given us an opportunity to
offer designs unlike anything we've offered before, in an effort to
inspire people to start thinking differently about facial tissue
and using it in ways that they never thought of before."

erium International, a provider of scientifically advanced, age-defying skincare
products, rolled out a new global package design that more closely reflects the science
behind Nerium's products as well as strategically
positions Nerium for ongoing international
expansion. By aligning the company's domestic
and international product lines into one cohesive
look, the refreshed packaging elevates the brand
to a more modern, upscale look and feel. The new
packaging also introduces updated names for
each of the products for consistency.
"We offer advanced, proprietary products that
continue to make a difference in people's lives,"
Amber Olson Rourke, chief marketing officer, says.
"The new packaging really reflects how unique
our products are. We're excited to take this next
step in the evolution of our brand as we expand
into other avenues in the space of anti-aging."
Nerium's Night Creams are now offered in
slate-colored bottles. The Day Creams are packaged in white. And all products come inside
updated white boxes. An inset Mylar sleeve within
each box reveals the product's usage by color.
