Rebrand bring beauty to a skincare line,
inside and out.
mage Skincare had more than 100 SKUs sold to and through
licensed skincare professionals, but it had a beauty problem
of its own. The packages had color-coded, metallic-trimmed
labels with a lackluster design that didn't ﬁt the line's premium positioning. The labels also suffered from color inconsistencies because
the company had multiple suppliers without brand standards for
quality control. In addition, the communication hierarchy was out
of sync, making it difﬁcult for consumers to distinguish between the
brand and the product name.
In need of a facelift, Image Skincare engaged Berlin Packaging's
Studio One Eleven design division (studio111design.com), with
instructions to "make our products look Sephora-ready even though
they will never be sold in Sephora." The new packaging looks offthe-shelf ready yet retains most of its brand attributes, including the
basic look of its logo and the oval shape of the product descriptor.
