Wilkie Remote-control Crane
Wilkie Mfg. LLC (Oklahoma City) is offering its Model 52XLR remote-control service crane, which was designed and developed to accomplish multiple tasks with one versatile vehicle. It doesn’t require an OSHAcertified operator. The two-man, hydraulic leveling and rotating platform allows the operator to keep the basket parallel to the work. The platform-mounted winch and jib allow the operator to install channel letters, raceways and outdoor lighting fixtures without additional equipment to hold the work, or other operators to position equipment. The main crane winch, which stows back on the main tube, is out of the way when doing service work or installing channel letters, but is quickly rigged when needed to install small signs or poles. Elliott Aerial Work Platforms
Elliott Equipment Co. (Omaha, NE) offers two versions of its HiReach aerial work platforms. The M85 HiReach, an 87-ft., working-height, telescopic, aerial lift, with 74 ft. of side reach, can be installed on a non-CDL, 25,999-lb., GVWR truck chassis. Features include a 500-lb.-capacity jib winch in the platform for material handling, a 750-lb.-capacity, 30 x 54-in. steel work platform for two workers, three-stick proportional controls and Elliott’s lifetime structural warranty. The M43 is similar, except that it has a 48-ft. working height. The hydraulic outriggers deploy within the truck mirrors, making setup possible in a single parking space.
