FORCED-AIR CONVEYOR DRYER

Ryonet has revealed the Vesta forced-air
conveyor dryer, combining BBC heating
elements and a design that features a
heat exchanger to use fresh rather than
recirculated air. Channeling fresh air
cools the exterior of the oven and
reduces the relative humidity of the air,
enhancing moisture absorption and
eliminating rusting and inconsistency
issues associated with recirculation,
according to the company. Features
include long-wave infrared technology,
a 40-in. heating bank, 36-in.-wide
TruTrak belt with 4-ft infeed and 2-ft
outfeed, digital heat control with two
zones (flash and heat maintenance),
digital speed control for chamber heat
monitoring, and an automated shut-off
function that runs the dryer belt until
the unit is cool, saving belt wear.

Mimaki has added to its UCJV Series of
printer/cutters with the addition of the
UCJV300-75, UCJV300-107, and UCJV300130. The new devices are designed with
the same operational features of the
UCJV300-160, but with a smaller
footprint. The UCJV300-75 images media
up to 31.5-in. wide, while the UCJV300107 prints widths up to 42.9 in. and the
UCJV300-130 prints widths up to 53.6 in.
The machines utilize UV inks that cure
instantly, allowing for layered printing.
Additional features include RasterLink6 Plus software with design

hits, print pressure, and more to be

1800 model, the 1500 prints lightweight,

Gel Dispensing Printing technology and
a single printhead. Print speeds reach
11.4 in./hr on the Z axis and 6.6 linear
in./sec. Applications include integrated
2D and 3D displays, illuminated signage,
