Legendary Screen Printing (legendarytattoostudio.com/#screenprinting)
provides affordable, high-quality screen
printing, apparel, and graphic design for
small business owners, clothing brands,
community events, and companies who
have a need to brand their business and
uniform their employees. The "Legendary Family," as Chris calls them, consists
of eight employees; services include
screen printing, embroidery, and graphic
design. But that's not all. The screen
printing shop also offers custom tattoos
and body piercing.
When and why did your business decide
to mix screen printing and tattoos?
In 2009, we started Legendary Tattoos
in Tarpon Springs, Florida. It started out
as a standard street shop, and the clientele was slowly building through the
local community. As artists growing up
in the skateboard and extreme sports
community, we always had a passion
for graphic designed T-shirts and the

epic custom artwork that came from it.
Mitch Teckman, owner/lead designer,
and I began to tinker with tattoo
T shirt designs and started printing on
a cheap hobby store screen printing
kit. After many trials and tribulations
of destroying shirts and getting ink
everywhere we began to figure things
out. We created multiple designs with
different tattoo style imagery and
promoted the tattoo shop by giving
every single customer a printed T-shirt.
It worked very well for reinforcing a
positive relationship with our customers. They would show off their new
tattoo while repping a shop shirt. In
2012, we decided it was time to invest
in some better equipment and so the
garage print shop started. We printed
for many small local business owners,
bands, and community events. Less
than two years later we moved into our
brick and mortar location in beautiful
Tarpon Springs and began to create
T shirts for the masses. From churches
