My.Suit New York
Concept: This custom suit maker stitches together digital elements and clean lines for a clutter-free buying experience.
Located in the Wall Street financial district, the 2200-square-foot space uses diffused and indirect metal halides and LEDs to simulate natural daylight, to provide the most accurate color rendering of the fabrics and materials.
FRAMED GLASS VITRINES
Four freestanding glass display boxes contain vintage suit jackets and old tech gadgets like CD players. “We brought warmth and memories to the core demographic that grew up with early technology,” says Ji Rook Kim, of New York-based UnSpace, which designed the store.
Created by streaming together a series of still photographs, this 20-LCD screen display features five live-action models. The highres images allow customers to see such detailing as types of buttons, fabric and stitching.
