Concept: Echoing a contemporary art gallery,
merchandise is carefully curated throughout
this modern shoe store like precious museum
1 SUPPORTING PLAYER
Original to the space - and not an initial favorite
of the project's designers - these bulky columns
were repurposed with shelving and mirrors.
The tile finish was added to imbue "a sense
of glamour," says Paulius Paskaˇcimas, project
architect, Plazma Architecture Studio (Vilnius,
Lithuania). "It shines and reflects light as you
move; it gives playfulness to the interior."
2 ALTERED ANGLES
The front of the store is highlighted by custommade luminaires, while the rest of the space
houses general track lighting. Made of Plexiglas
tubes with LED strips inside, the light fixtures
also accentuate new collections that are
merchandised near the entrance.
