2015's holiday windows kept shoppers in awe,
guessing what they'd see next.

importance of keeping shoppers
guessing, which couldn't be truer
with this past season's holiday
windows. Charged with drawing droves
of seasonal passersby year after year,
reinvention and creativity are key.
Retailers took us on a magical journey to
far-away lands, mysterious caverns and even
outer space, among other realms. Utilizing
inventive methods, fantastical concepts
were brought to life, leaving window-gazers
mesmerized.
Annually revered for its outside-thebox concepts and unwavering attention to
detail, Bergdorf Goodman (New York) didn't
disappoint with its five Swarovski-encrusted
"Brilliant Holiday" windows. Incorporating
more than seven million crystals in total,
Bergdorf Goodman's senior director, visual
presentation and window designer, David
Hoey, aimed to show visitors "the sparkliest
windows anyone had ever seen."
Among its windows, "Glitterati,"
depicting a raucous birthday bash among
Saks Fifth Avenue, New York
"The Winter Palace"

six socialites, included oversized party
favors, chandeliers, an oversized guitar and
twelve birthstone crystal-covered birthday
cakes, each representing a different month
of the year.
