Three New Ships Setting Sail in 2018

Here are three new ships some of the world's leading
cruise lines are launching between 2018 and 2022.
Carnival Horizon, the newest addition to Carnival Cruise
Line, will offer a number of innovations, including the first
Dr. Seuss WaterWorks aqua park, the line's first
teppanyaki dining venue and Guy's Pig & Anchor
Bar-B-Que Smokehouse. Guests can also enjoy a wide
range of accommodations including spa cabins and
extra-roomy staterooms in Family Harbor. Carnival
Horizon will sail a summer schedule of four-day Bermuda
and eight-day Caribbean departures from New York.
The fifth all-suite ship in Seabourn's fleet, Seabourn
Ovation, is set to debut in May. The ship will carry just
600 guests and offers a number of in-suite amenities
to provide guests with a home-away-from-home

onboard experience, including a private veranda in
each suite. The ship will spend the majority of its
maiden season cruising the waters of Northern Europe,
offering a variety of Baltic and Scandinavian cruises.
The second Pinnacle Class ship for Holland America
Line, ms Nieuw Statendam, will carry 2,666 guests and
feature fine-dining options at alternative restaurants Sel
de Mer, a French seafood brasserie, and Tamarind, an
Asian fusion concept, in addition to the Grand Dutch
Cafe with traditional Dutch treats and European beer.
The ship is scheduled for its maiden voyage on Dec. 5,
2018, a 14-day transatlantic crossing to Fort Lauderdale.
The ship will then spend the winter season sailing
seven-day Caribbean itineraries with select three-,
four- and 10-day options.

You don't have to abandon your healthy lifestyle on a river cruise. After
a successful test run last year onboard the AmaLyra, AmaWaterways will
expand their wellness program to five more ships in 2018.
Guests aboard the AmaDante, AmaSonata, AmaPrima, AmaDolce and
AmaCerto (in addition to AmaLyra) have access to scheduled daily fitness
activities like jogging, circuit training, yoga and morning stretches. The
seven-night program will also feature discussion groups that focus on
wellness-related topics like relaxation techniques and healthy eating.
A good selection of onboard exercise equipment - elliptical machines,
stationary bikes and treadmills - are also on hand for solo fitness sessions.
In addition to their fitness and exercise offerings, AmaWaterways
provides varied healthy food options to keep guests on track. Choose from
gluten-free, vegetarian and low sodium menu items, or enjoy a vitamin shot
drink each morning at breakfast.
The wellness cruises include itineraries to Christmas markets along the
Rhine, castle tours in Europe and wine tours in France, among others.
