Measuring for Change
Our Team Members, Members and
communities trust us to be stewards of our
planet and make responsible decisions. The
first step toward improving our environmental
practices is to understand the impact we
have and leverage this information to track
improvements and set targets. Below we outline
some of our current actions to address this.
Sustainability
* We have reduced and avoided waste
by adopting diversion strategies that
include recycling and composting
options in our facilities
* In 2021, the increased frequency of
our digital magazine, eVia, reduced
consumption and waste by
approximately 1,500 tons of paper:
the equivalent of 12,000 trees
* Our Team Member benefits package
encourages public transportation with
incentives, and - in some locations -
EV charging is available
* Our headquarter office in Walnut Creek, CA
earned LEED Platinum certification,
and several of our retail locations earned
other LEED certifications

recognize that we
need to protect the
natural environment
in and around
the communities
we serve.
