Our core Member benefit is Emergency Road Service. Over 87 percent of Members who use the service are "totally satisfied" with the
roadside assistance we provide. Remember, you also have access to
our free car battery testing service.
And there is so much more to your AAA Membership. Here are
some of the additional ways you can get value from it:
You can save 5 cents per gallon at Shell. Just sign up at AAA.com/shell.
Our convenient GIG Car Share service (gigcarshare.com) is available
in the Oakland, Berkeley, and Sacramento, Calif., areas. (See page 14
for more.) It's so easy to use: fuel, parking, and insurance costs are all
included in the fee. GIG uses low- or no-emission vehicles, too. AAA
Members save 10 percent.
Free identity theft protection is part of your AAA Membership.
All you need to do is enroll online with ProtectMyID (AAA.com/
idtheft). Identity theft is the fastest-growing crime in the United
States, with a new victim every two seconds. Our service includes
Experian credit monitoring, lost wallet protection, and U.S.-based
fraud resolution.
We have also introduced a new home maintenance service. We
want to offer the same peace of mind to our Members in their homes
that we have provided at the roadside for more than 100 years. AAA
House Manager (AAA.com/housemanager) is your trustworthy home
maintenance partner. Right now, AAA House Manager is only available in the San Francisco Bay Area. Watch for expanded service territories coming soon.
While we introduce new sources of Member value, our commitment to traffic safety is unwavering. We donated more than 5,000 car
seats to community organizations or families in need last year. We
have more than 45,000 young people involved in the AAA School
Safety Patrol program (AAA.com/schoolsafety). Our Patrollers help keep
other students safe on their way to and from school while also learning
leadership skills. And we operate the largest autonomous vehicle test
facility in America, so we can carefully study the safety aspects of
emerging vehicle technologies into the next century.
