Flame of Excellence Awards T he AACN community believes outstanding members deserve recognition for their far-reaching contributions to patients, families and the profession they love. The Flame of Excellence and Circle of Excellence awards help provide this recognition. This year’s honorees — all of them active AACN members — meet the award criteria shown for the Circle of Excellence on the next page. The three exceptional individuals shown on this page — all of whom have received at least one AACN award in the past — were selected unanimously by the board of directors to receive the Flame of Excellence award for consistently demonstrating at a high level and with broad reach the outcomes associated with the award criteria. The AACN community applauds these exceptional members.
