GALLERY HIDDEN IN THE WINGS Nicholas Carver The area north of Deneb, much like the rest of Cygnus, is awash with glowing red Hα. It also harbors the large, bluish, rarely seen O III supernova remnant known as G 82.2+5.3, which is visible in the lower half of this image. North is to the upper left.
