EVENING: Look toward the southeast to see 15 the fattening Moon 4° upper left of Regulus. EVENING: Watch as the waning gibbous Moon 19 rises in tandem with Spica in the east-southeast; about 4° separates the pair. 20 SPRING BEGINS in the Northern Hemisphere at the equinox, 11:33 a.m. EDT (8:33 a.m. PDT). DAWN: The waning gibbous Moon gleams 23 some 2° above the Scorpion's heart, Antares. Look toward the south to catch this sight before sunrise. 25 DAWN: Venus, Mars, and Saturn rise in a compact triangle in the east-southeast.
