GROW OPPORTUNITIES
The second scholarship was awarded to Emily Hedrick.
Emily is a media director for Insightful Accountant.
When asked what this scholarship means to her, Emily,
who has a passion for communication, said, " What
an honor to be selected. Having the opportunity to
earn an MBA at an attainable cost is a dream come
true. " She added, " With my ABWA membership, I have
pushed myself outside of my comfort zone...I've
taken advantage of ABWA's professional programs
that have put me in the position to really grow, learn,
and progress. And this educational experience will
give me the knowledge and skills that I will be able to
leverage for future career opportunities. "
Emily has been a member since 2018, and is affiliated
with the Emerald Coast Chapter, located in Ft. Walton
Beach, Florida, where she currently serves as the Vice
President. According to Chapter President, Diane Fraser,
Emily also holds the title of Technology Queen. " She's
the one we go to whenever we need a zoom meeting
scheduled or information on how to navigate the
national website. She's a hand raiser always willing to
do whatever needs to be done to continue the growth
and success of our chapter. "
