Matthews Unveils
Panel Stand
Matthews Studio Equipment has introduced the Panel
Stand to support panel and
balloon-style lighting fixtures,
LED monitors, screens, overhead
frames and backdrops. Wheels
add on-set mobility, and lowprofile legs maximize leeway and
maneuverability, even with lowhanging equipment.
The Panel Stand offers a
maximum height of 11' and a
minimum of 55". With a load
capacity of 70/80 pounds, it is an
ideal mate for popular panel
lights, as well as 45"-85" monitors, which can be supported
horizontally or vertically. Built
for low clearance, the Panel
Stand's main column can be
adjusted and lowered at the leg
base, and its shallow wheelbase
facilitates rolling underneath
furniture, vehicles or other
obstacles.
Rugged and compact, the
Panel Stand comes equipped
with Tente caster wheels, pins to
hang a door rack for truck storage, a 11⁄8" Junior receiver, a 5⁄8"
Baby pin, and a built-in,
ergonomically balanced handle

Accsoons' CineEye Sends Video to Mobile
Accsoon has released CineEye, a wireless video-transmission system that allows users to send a 1080p video signal
from the CineEye device attached to the camera to as many as
four mobile devices. This allows the director, other crew and
clients to use their existing mobile devices to monitor what's
being shot.
With an average latency of around 100ms, the CineEye
has minimal lag while maintaining a high-quality image via its
wireless signal; the CineEye automatically modifies and selects
channels that have the least resistance; and the transmitter

also alters the bitrate and video quality of the outgoing signal
in order to maximize connection and frame rate, ensuring
people on set can always monitor what is happening.
The CineEye weighs .4 pounds and features a built-in
3,500-mAh battery that offers up to four hours of power.
When the battery gets low, users can plug in power via the
built-in USB-C port and continue shooting.
Offering features such as focus peaking, zebras, false
color for exposure, and LUT overlay, the CineEye offers options
typically seen on higher-end monitors.

LockCircle Announces
MetalJacket 2
LockCircle has introduced the
MetalJacket 2, a cage for the Leica
SL2 camera that is designed to
facilitate motion-picture production. Weighing 8.6 ounces, the
MetalJacket 2 integrates (with
the CineBlock interface mount)
the original Leitz Cine/Leica SL-PL
Mount, creating a sturdy production camera. The NovoBlock integrates the Novoflex and P+S Technik
mounts for using still-photography lenses.
Due to its ultra-compact design, the
MetalJacket 2 does not have to be
removed when the user wants to
shoot stills.
The MetalJacket 2 offers 150 threads 1⁄4"-20 and seven
threads 3⁄8"-16 for multi-accessory mounting such as viewfinders, 4K HDMI recorders, monitors and heavy-duty camera
