DeMarco: I would sometimes ask production designer Helen Scott to use darker shades of paint or wallpaper, because when we add light, it will brighten up to the color she actually wants, and that way I won't have to worry about knocking it down on set or in post. Where did you do your dailies and final color grade? DeMarco: Our dailies were done at Harbor Post in New York, and Harbor's Joe Gawler and I did the final color for the film there, too. Did you create different color profiles for the punks and aliens, or the different chakra groups? DeMarco: There were six alien colonies, and each had a color based on the colors of the chakras.
